Dr. Daniele Bertelli, Osteopath, began in orthopaedic and sports rehab as a functional rehabilitation therapist with a degree in sports rehabilitation from the University of Milan.<\/p>

In his early career, Daniele worked closely with professional athletes from all sorts of disciplines, including swimmers, basketball players, cyclists and surfers. In this time, Daniele also worked in the field of postural correction, using his experience and knowledge to treat conditions of the spine through specific movement.<\/p>

Following this, Daniele attended S.O.M.A in Milan and graduate as a qualified Osteopath and completed multiple post-graduate certifications to support and expand his knowledge in the field of osteopathy.<\/p>

With a particular interest in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, including spinal and shoulder injuries, whiplash, TMJ and myofascial dysfunction, Daniele\u2019s approach is thorough and individualised, using multiple techniques such as, dry needling, cranio-sacral therapy, biodynamic and structural osteopathy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Daniele\u2019s approach and treatment methods always differentiate according to what is best for the patient and the main focus is about allowing your body to make change rather than forcing the treatment upon it.<\/p>

Indeed, the treatment\u00a0 does not concentrate only on the painful area and\u00a0 symptoms, but it aims to find the source of the problem and understanding why the body created this disfunction.<\/p>

A Different range of techniques will be used\u00a0 to balance all the body systems, treating underlying problem, to provide overall good health and wellbeing.<\/p>

Techniques may range from:<\/em><\/p>

Biodynamic CranioSacral<\/strong>\u00a0approach, where with a gentle touch it\u2019s possible to normalise the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body\u2019s ability to self-correct,\u00a0CranioSacral Therapy<\/strong>\u00a0is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to stroke and neurological impairment.<\/p>

Dry needling<\/strong>, which is a modern, science-based intervention for the treatment of pain and dysfunction in musculoskeletal conditions such as neck pain, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, knee pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, or low-back pain.<\/p>

Dry needling is a treatment technique whereby a sterile, single-use, fine filament needle (acupuncture needle) is inserted into the muscle to assist with decreasing pain and improving function through the release of myofascial trigger points (knots in the muscle).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
